DCD CONSTRUCTION, INC. is a Filipino
Corporation engaged in construction and in the operation and maintenance of a rock crushing plant to meet the aggregates requirement for the company’s project. The company started on a single proprietorship last August 22, 1985 mainly engaged in the construction of infrastructure projects serving both the government and private clients / firms. Most of the projects first accomplished and undertaken were the construction of roads and bridges with the Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) provinces of Cebu, Masbate and Samar. It was also awarded contracts for the Design and Construction of commercial and industrial buildings and facilities, roads and bridges, installation of industrial and domestic water supply system, construction of residential housing units, recreational and other facilities in both Toledo and Masbate Operations of Atlas Consolidated Mining and Development Corporation. During the early development stage of Cebu Business Park project of Ayala Group of Companies, DCD also undertook the construction of drainage facilities. In its 30 years of operation, the company has completed a sizeable amount of projects serving the government and private sectors.
On December 7, 1992, the firm was incorporated and registered with the Securities and Exchange Commission. After complying with all requirements, the Philippine Contractors Accreditation Board (PCAB) and the Inter Agency Committee for the Registration and Classification of Contractors (IACRCC) approved its application for the change of business status from single proprietorship to a corporation on February 1996.
The corporation currently maintains a motor pool at Brgy. Tabok, Danao City where the entire fleet of the company’s heavy equipment is maintained and kept in an A-1 condition.
Today, the corporation has in its employ a good number of workforces to include experienced engineers and project staff who are technically competent in various degrees of expertise in civil, structural, mechanical, electrical & architectural works as well as heavy equipment operations.
